Description
Grow a lawn that can withstand tough conditions with Scotts® Grass Seed Drought Tolerant Mix. This mix of Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass grows long roots to access water deep in the soil, and also self repairs to fill in bare spots. Use this grass seed mix to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply this lawn care product when air temperatures are between 65°F and 85°F. To seed a new lawn, prep the area by raking to loosen the top layer of soil and remove any dead grass or debris to ensure seed-to-soil contact. To reseed or overseed an existing lawn, mow the lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippings. For new lawns and overseeding, apply grass seed using a Scotts® spreader at the recommended setting listed on the label. After application, lightly rake the seed into the soil to ensure seed is covered just beneath the soil surface. One 10 lb. bag of Scotts® Grass Seed Drought Tolerant Mix has a new lawn coverage of 1,665 sq. ft. or an overseeding coverage of 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn.
